Show Notes for Season 1, Episode 11: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, but first Reduce

Alethea talks about stopping waste before it starts by trying to reduce consumption.

Happy Earth Day!

I forgot to mention this last week, but yes, it was the 51st Earth Day on April 22nd.

Here are some links to articles on whether and how minimalism, veganism, and zero waste can be done to help the planet. I am in no way saying that aiming for these things or that people who ascribe to these movements do not help -- just that we should be aware there are ways of doing them incorrectly which are not only unhelpful for the environment, but are also unhelpful to individuals. In this episode I talk more about the most basic thoughts to build a mindset of waste reduction.

Please note some of these articles have sources/works cited and some don't; additionally some platforms and sources may be biased so take this information with a grain of salt. I'm sharing them more as a starting-off point for our own thoughts around how we can help reduce waste, conserve resources, and restore the earth.
